On December 4th, a donated semi and two volunteer drivers will be leaving from Grand Rapids, MI and making their way to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Porcupine, South Dakota. My close friend, Lakota Chief and Medicine Man, Michael Little Boy, Sr., has placed a request to fill an urgent need for non-perishable food and warm clothing for his people in the Porcupine District of Pine Ridge Reservation. Often referred to as the poorest county in the United States of America, Chief Little Boy’s, people are once again, preparing for a harsh winter.
