Loving light for Jonni

Janis is requesting prayers for her friend and co-worker Jonni. At the age of 40 Jonni was excited about a much prayed for pregnancy, when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer with metastasis to the lymph nodes. Tragically, the pregnancy had to be terminated to allow for the aggressive chemotherapy treatment required prior to surgery. This doubly tragic situation is in dire need of loving light for the highest good of all.

Hope and healing for the those affected by the Ukraine tragedy

Sadly, there has been an explosion in a coalmine in Ukraine, it killed 39 miners - again, tragically, 50 are now missing too, their condition unknown. 359 have been evacuted and 25 in hospital spare them and their familes prayers and lets hope they rescue the others soon as yet, they still have no contact with the missing miners.

Pine Ridge Food/Clothing Drive

Denise Iwaniw is heading up this year's food and clothing drive to benefit the families of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. She will be accepting donations at her Rockford home until Sunday, November 25.

There is a dire need for the following items:

  Winters in this area can bring temperatures of -50 degrees and many families do not have adequate heating in their homes. In fact close to half of the homes on the reservation are not equipped with electricity or running water. With over 90% of the residents living below the federal poverty level, malnutrition is epidemic. Families often go without food on a regular basis.As Lightworkers we already know that the loving intentions of a few can add up to huge benefits to many. I would like to suggest that we send love and healing energy to the people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota as well as all indigenous cultures of the world. Their way of life is continually threatened by forced cultural assimilation, invasive land development, not to mention widespread poverty. May they be able to reclaim the ways of their ancestors and may the rest of us learn by their example of how to live in harmony with the earth.
