My legs are aching. I have a neurological disease named Freidriech's Ataxia. It is due to a genetic defect and it gets progressively worse over time. I didn't even know that I had the disease until I was 15 years old, at 27 I was forced into a manual wheelchair, and for the last 2 years, I have been using an electric wheelchair. It is a disease that has taken one thing at a time away from me. I used to play baseball - I even have 3 trophies. Then, I couldn't walk anymore, and now I am in pain all the time. At times (like right now), it is really severe. I feel like my legs serve only one purpose - to deliver pain. There's no easy way out. There's no shortcut home. I just have to ride it out till it hurts no more. I never feel sorry for myself, but sometimes I wonder how I am able to endure it.
Please pray for me.

Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather and having a good summer. I had another CT scan and received a very good report. The fluid that was around my lungs 2 months ago is completely gone. The nodules have decreased in size and are quite a bit smaller now. The oncologist said there has been "substantial shrinkage" in the size of the tumor. Two months ago the tumor took up my entire lower lobe and part of the middle lobe of my right lung. The surgeon was talking about removing my entire right lung. Now it looks "whispy with a little haziness." The doctor at the U of M said he's had more than 200 patients on Tarceva and this is one of the BEST responses he's seen to this medication! As I told you before, I felt like I was healed when you annointed me with oil and we all prayed together after tai chi class. I can't thank you enough for all your prayers, thoughts, encouragement, and support. The power of prayer is truly amazing. Please

Prayers and Healing light for Connie & LaVonne

I am requesting prayers and Healing light for two sisters, Connie and LaVonne, who were in a very serious accident yesterday near Grand Rapids. Both ladies need lots of prayers as they have a long road to recovery. Also blessings for the truck driver who did his best to keep the accident from being a fatal one.

I just received a call from BJ. She called to let me know that her mother passed away unexpectedly last week.

In addition to losing her mother, she and Ken recently moved from California to Tennessee. (Two weeks ago).
