Update on Bud

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. Bud is recovering, though a bit more slowly than last time. He is being transferred to a rehab unit today and will be starting the next phase of his recovery. Thank you again - for everything.

Urgent Reiki and Healing Prayer for Sally

I forward this in it's entirety because I've been asked to share it with the drum circle and because it speaks to how serious her condition is. Please pray for Sally.

Sally has a rare condition called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The 'idiopathic' means that the cause is unknown. There is no known treatment. At present, Sally is too ill to be at home. She is on 100% oxygen and cannot walk without her oxygen level dropping to a dangerous level. She is in Hospital, working with the lung transplant team.

Tuesday, she had a set back when the lung transplant team decided that there were three issues that needed to be addressed before she could be placed on the transplant list. The first issue is that she has a high white blood cell count. They are not sure of the cause for this, but they want to make sure it is not due to an infection. The second is her drop foot condition. This is something that came on suddenly a few weeks ago. One of her feet has dropped so that it drags a little when she was walking. The team wants to make sure that it is not an indication of a larger problem, perhaps neurological. The third issue is her general physical condition.

The teams goal is to determine the cause for the high white blood cell count, and get a better understanding of the drop foot condition. Sally's goal is to improve her physical condition so she can walk and reduce the amount of oxygen that she is presently on.

It was very hard on Sally today when she first received the news that she was not being placed on the transplant list, because everyone that had talked to us indicated that there was nothing to keep her from being placed on the list. But, after a long discussion with a member of the transplant team she was able to rally her hopes.

Please let Sally's friends in the drumming circle know how seriously ill she is. Her only hope is to get a lung transplant quickly. Please ask them all to pray for that to happen soon. Thank you for all of your prayers. I will be with Sally in the hospital on Friday and we'll be thinking of you all.

Healing for 11 Year Old

Please send healing Light and love to Lynda R's 11 year nephew who was in a serious water skiing accident last night. He has a skull fracture and is in serious, but stable condition.

Please send lots of Reiki love and light to my nephew Devin and his co-worker, who were in a terriable explosion down in Texas. Both had battery acid blown all over their bodies. They both need lost of love, light and healing prayers.

Reiki for Billy

Please send healing energies for my grandson Billy, he was injured in a bicycle accident on Friday night. He is in Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. Billy is 16 years old and had a closed head injury. Brain surgery on Friday night to remove blood clots. He is alert, getting up with assistance, but has short term memory loss. I don't know what his prognosis is. He is a bright kid, and has always been a good student. I don't know if or how this will affect his learning abilities.

Prayers For Maggie

Please send healing light and prayers for my dear friend Maggie, she went through her heart surgery and did fine but her lungs won't work proerly on their own. Yesterday she was responsive to the family but today she is not.
