I am contacting you today to ask you to send your love and light to Eva and her five children of South Carolina. Eva's husband and my dear, beloved friend Randy passed away this morning around 3:00 am. He had been suffering the last couple of years and was awaiting a liver transplant.

Eva is the best friend I've ever known. A true, sweet, genuine, and loving soul. Please pray that my physical presence will be a comfort and blessing to them all as I will be flying there tomorrow. And please send to them from within you the light and love of our most beloved creator.

Before I head back up to the hospital this morning, I would like to thank all of you for the Reiki that was sent to Mom and her medical team.

She came out of surgery late last night sporting a steel plate in her left arm from shoulder to elbow and 13 screws. The doctor was amazed (of course) at how smoothly the operation went. It lasted only two hours, with no glitches.

Thank you for continuing to send Reiki to Lois as she heals and her energetic bodies recover from the trauma of her fall.

Katie is a beautiful three year old little girl who has just been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma. This is an extremely rare form of liver cancer that affects about one in every million children born in the United States every year.

The tumor is so large that it cannot be removed until chemotherapy has been given to try to shrink it. No child should have to endure what she is going through. Please remember Katie and her family in your prayers that God may give them the strength to endure this most difficult time in their lives.

Reiki Healing and Prayers for Jackie

Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with a menigoma or brain tumor earlier this year. After a couple of months and another MRI it was discovered that the tumor
is growing. It was decided that I should go to Pittsburgh for gammma knife surgery. I will be leaving next Monday, the 18th, for the interview and preliminary tests that need to be done, and on the 19th I'll have the radiation.

Depending on what the Dr. says, I can go home that day or will have to stay until the next day. I'm asking for your prayers for a successful surgery and recouperation.

My legs are aching. I have a neurological disease named Freidriech's Ataxia. It is due to a genetic defect and it gets progressively worse over time. I didn't even know that I had the disease until I was 15 years old, at 27 I was forced into a manual wheelchair, and for the last 2 years, I have been using an electric wheelchair. It is a disease that has taken one thing at a time away from me. I used to play baseball - I even have 3 trophies. Then, I couldn't walk anymore, and now I am in pain all the time. At times (like right now), it is really severe. I feel like my legs serve only one purpose - to deliver pain. There's no easy way out. There's no shortcut home. I just have to ride it out till it hurts no more. I never feel sorry for myself, but sometimes I wonder how I am able to endure it.
Please pray for me.

Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather and having a good summer. I had another CT scan and received a very good report. The fluid that was around my lungs 2 months ago is completely gone. The nodules have decreased in size and are quite a bit smaller now. The oncologist said there has been "substantial shrinkage" in the size of the tumor. Two months ago the tumor took up my entire lower lobe and part of the middle lobe of my right lung. The surgeon was talking about removing my entire right lung. Now it looks "whispy with a little haziness." The doctor at the U of M said he's had more than 200 patients on Tarceva and this is one of the BEST responses he's seen to this medication! As I told you before, I felt like I was healed when you annointed me with oil and we all prayed together after tai chi class. I can't thank you enough for all your prayers, thoughts, encouragement, and support. The power of prayer is truly amazing. Please
forward this to the tai chi ladies. Thanks!
