Due to conditions beyond his control, Mike Little Boy will not be able to travel to Michigan this weekend. The Sunday workshop has been cancelled altogether.

In Mike's place at the 6:00 p.m. Lecture Series, my dear friend, Linda Grzeszak will be speaking about her many experiences with the Lakota people in her talk entitled, "Spiritual Diversity."

For those of you who know Linda, you are aware that this talk with be informative, enlightening, humorous and as always, great fun!

A Forever Home For Buddy

Please send prayers and healing energy to Buddy in his search for a forever home. He was recently rescued by a family with two other dogs. Although his new mommy and daddy love him very much, they believe that Buddy would be happier if he had someone home with him for longer periods through out the day to give him the one-on-one attention that he needs. He is a great dog and deserves someone who has the time to love him properly.

Buddy is between 7 and 10 months old and is probably a chihuahua/pug mix. He is potty-trained and has not even once had an accident in the house! He is shy, but loves to play. He loves women, kids & other pets. However it does take him more time to feel comfortable around men. He warms up very slowly, but when he does warm up he is very loving and playful.

Whoever Buddy goes home with is going to enjoy this cute little boy. He fetches his toys. He makes the cutest sounds a dog has ever made. It sounds like he is trying to talk to you. Buddy loves to run and play outside. Sort of "catch me if you can"... "you chase me for a while and then I'll chase you." It's so cute!

Buddy would be bringing along with him, his food bowl, leash, heartworm meds for the year and all of his favorite toys. He has already had extensive veterinary care including: up to date vaccinations, 1 year supply of heartworm medication, dew claw removal, micro-chip, as well as licensing for the city of Grand Rapids.

His current family is committed to finding a home that will be an apporpriate match for Buddy's unique personality. If you are interested and able to provide Buddy with a forever home please email reikilightshare@gmail.com

Zachary Update

Zachary, Jeanna, & Trevor: Zachary came a day early and was unable to have his surgery at GR Hospital. He is Detroit Children's Hospital and needs lots of healing love and energy for a quick recovery. He will undergo many surgeries during his youth and be a candidate for heart transplant when he gets old enough. His left ventricle isn't developed fully. Please send healing light to his family to help with their stress and to Zach for a full and speedy recovery. Namaste ~Beckie~

Alan made it through the surgery today; he is in recovery, and will be in icu for a few days.
I am hoping that he will go to a nursing home for the recovery time; he
lives alone and has no one to help him.

He is in a very weakened condition, yet has a good attitude, one of optimism. He believes in his doctor, and the hospital; he sees himself coming through his 'okay'....he has been told that he will need 24/7 help for two months, to recover from this.
